ASIP to Hold ‘The Role of IP in Innovation and Economic Growth’ Training Course


AMMAN - The Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) will hold the ‘Role of Intellectual Property in Innovation and Economic Growth’ training course, September 12 - 15, 2022. The course will take place at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) Building - Amman.
The 12-hour training course will introduce participants to different topics that explain the concept and types of innovation and economic growth, namely:

-    Discussions of the Theoretical and Practical Background of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs).
-    Innovation and Globalization.
-    How could Innovation Lead to Economic Growth?
-    The Innovation Process and the Role of IPRs.
-    National Innovation and IPR Systems: Their Role in Economic Development (Practical examples)

It is worth mentioning that the Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) is a non-profit organization founded on February 23, 1987, in Munich, Germany, by leading practitioners in different fields of Intellectual Property in the Arab region, under the chairmanship of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh. Its mission is to gather IP professionals and practitioners in the Arab region and help raise awareness and enhance understanding of Intellectual Property issues and dynamics.
