ASIP Holds “IPRs Protection against Infringement” Course



AMMAN - The Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) has recently held a training course entitled "Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) Protection against Infringement", at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) headquarters– Amman.
Over the 12 training hours, participants were introduced to the following main topics:
-    The Concept of Intellectual Property Rights
-    Types of Intellectual Property Rights
-    Distinction between Industrial Intellectual Property, and Literary and Artistic Property
-    Artistic Works
-    Computer Programs and Databases
-    International Treaties that Regulate the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights over the Internet
-    Means of Technological and Legal Protection of Intellectual Property against Violations
-    Alternative Solutions for Intellectual Property Rights Disputes
At the end of the training course, certificates of attendance issued by the Society were given to participants.
