AMMAN - The Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) has recently held a Webinar session entitled "Trademark Opposition Procedures", using Microsoft Teams App.
The main topics covered in the session included:
1.    Statement of the legal basis for the objection.
2.    Persons entitled to make an objection. 
3.    Legal grounds for the objection.
4.    Stages of objection.
5.    What are the documents or evidence to be presented in the objection?
6.    Is the decision issued in the objection absolute (final)? Or subject to appeal?
 
After the session, participants who sat for a short exam to obtain a certificate of attendance, expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Society for the newly acquired practical knowledge and skills.
