ASIP Holds ‘IP and E- Commerce’ Training Course



AMMAN - The Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) held ‘Intellectual Property (IP) and E- Commerce’ training course, January 5 - 9, 2020 at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) headquarters– Amman.

Over the 15 training hours, participants were introduced to key e-commerce and intellectual property-related concepts.

Other topics included:
-    Definition of e-commerce and its relationship to intellectual property.
-    Copyright and plagiarism in theses and research studies.
-    Intellectual property issues arise when designing corporate website and publishing it online.
-    Caution when searching information online.
-    Protection of domain names and databases, as well as e-commerce security.
Accordingly, certificates of attendance issued by the Society were given to participants.
