AMMAN - March 27, 2016 - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and Co. International (TAGI), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, received ISO 9001 Certificate and maintained meeting its requirements for the twelfth year respectively.
TAGI applies for this certificate given its keenness to provide the best services to its clients around the world; by adopting best practices and systems.
Eng. Khalid Abu-Osbeh, International Executive Director of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Consulting (TAG-Consult), said "The organization applied for ISO 9001 of 2004, succeeded in obtaining the certificate and maintained this achievement for the twelfth year respectively."
He also added:" TAGI is one of more than 400 companies, institutions and organizations from public and private sectors which managed to be qualified for obtaining the certificate by the consultants of "TAG-Consult".
"TAG-Consult currently works with more than 20 Arab institutions to help them prepare for obtaining the certificate through the next six months. The demand for obtaining ISO 9001 has increased after the issuance of its 2015 edition," he pointed out.
He also stated "According to the laws of certification, the applying companies must undergo a detailed surveillance audit to assure ongoing conformity every three years. The Organization passed this stage, affirming its merit maintaining ISO 9001 for the next three years."
SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company,verified that the procedures set to meet the quality policies and objectives of the company are suitable. It then checked the application of those procedures on the ground.
He also stated that "pursuant to the directions of its Chairman, HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG-Org always seeks excellence and best provisions to meet the expectations of its clients." He pointed out that "the Organization is the only Arab non-governmental member in ISO Technical Committee Number 176.
This Committee is considered the most important among 300 technical committees of ISO. It is responsible for developing the most important standard in the world with which more than one million and three hundred thousand institutions in the world comply.
Abu-Osbeh confirmed: "The Organization's continuous entitlement to this certificate is a confirmation of the high efficiency. It can provide various professional services to its clients especially the services of preparing and qualifying the regional Arab institutions of different sectors for obtaining ISO 9001 issued by the International Standardization Organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition, it provides services in the fields of audit, consultancy, management, IT consultancy, training, education, intellectual property and law.
It is noteworthy that TAG-Org representative was chosen among the expert groups that developed the last three editions of ISO 9001 in 2000, 2008 and 2015. The representative currently works with the shortlisted group of experts who have the knowledge of the standards of both quality management and project management to develop ISO 10006 - quality management in projects along with experts from international organizations such us Airbus, Cisco and French and British standards bodies.
